Enjoying reading Glorious Mess this morning with some instrumental music playing, a bowl of Cream of Wheat, my guapo hanging out beside me reading Real Marriage, and being lazy.
This part struck me in the chapter "Two Ways Out" of the section, "Getting out of Your Glorious Mess."
Page 94, "Sometimes the only way God can give us peace is when we come to the end of ourselves and simply give up. Godliness is perfecting the art of the early surrender."
I am nothing without Christ. I am not enough. I need to give myself as an offering to Him that He may use me to be something great as He has purposed me to do!
